The Moruya Jazz Festival 2009
This year any surplus funds raised by this 'not for profit' event will be donated to the Moruya Hospital Auxilary.
Our committee is busily arranging an even bigger and more successful, wonderful weekend of jazz for locals and visitors for 2009.
Again there will be a huge variety of jazz artists and styles for your enjoyment. As well as the special events and free public performances, there will also be jazz artists featuring at a number of Clubs and pubs around town.
Moruya, located on the NSW South Coast between Batemans Bay and Narooma, is just over 4 hours from Sydney and 2 from Canberra.

The FESTIVAL OFFICE is located in the centre of town, in the old Mylott's Bakery, on the corner of Vulcan and Queen Streets, diagonally opposite Harris Scafe.Tickets and information will be avaiable throughout the festival. Come and register, collect your wristbands and programmes or ask questions.
Unfortunately the office has no credit card facilities. However there are ATM machines close by.
JAZZ SHUTTLE
Marshalls, our local bus company will provide a jazz shuttle between venues on SATURDAY evening. The bus will leave the front of The Monarch Hotel on the hour and from The Golf Club on the half hour between 6 and 11 pm. Stops will be made at Harris Scarfe for the CWA Hall and the Air Raid Tavern. The cost is $2 a trip. |
